Begin each session with a real situation that has no obvious answer — a pricing call, a sourcing failure, a compliance deadline. Theory then arrives as a tool rather than a topic.
Limit the frameworks
Two frameworks per session, taught well, beat six taught quickly. Depth converts to recall; coverage does not.
Assess judgement, not recall
Ask students to justify a course of action with the evidence available, including its weaknesses. That is the skill practice actually rewards.
